Daniel Philips

Daniel has recently been nominated for an Oscar for his design work in 'Victoria & Abdul', and has won a BAFTA for 'Florence Foster Jenkins' in 2017. Following a Hair Styling apprenticeship and training as a Technical Graphic artist in the Marine industry, award winning hair & makeup artist Daniel Phillips continued his studies at the London College of Fashion studying Media, Film and Editorial Makeup & Hair, resulting in 2 years within the Fashion & Beauty circuit. From there he spent 7 years at the BBC in London honing his craft in the Makeup department, covering a host of Period and Contemporary film and studio based projects. Now a freelance designer in Film, Daniel has recently been awarded a Bafta for his work on Florence Foster Jenkins to add to his Two Emmy awards and an RTS award, along with 4 previous Bafta nominations.
